The Ice Machine Thermistor is an OEM Replacement Part, crucial for Whirlpool ice makers. Its main function is to monitor the temperature in the ice maker bin. It transmits this data to the electronic control board. The thermistor, composed of plastic and metal with a white finish, is essential in determining the ice production volume.
