The Whirlpool dryer drum drive belt is an OEM replacement part responsible for enabling the rotation of the drum during the drying cycle. This part is typically located around the drum’s outer circumference and extends along the dryer’s interior.

The drive belt loops around the drum and is connected to the dryer’s motor and idler pulley system. When the dryer is in operation, the motor rotates the drum drive belt, which, in turn, causes the drum to spin, tumbling and evenly drying the laundry inside.
